Ultima Online: Age of Shadows is yet another of Ultima Online's five expansion packs in over half a decade. Ultima Online, as one of the original MMORPGs, has many other games to compete with today. This alone shouldn't discourage new players. Its over head view should be welcomed by people who seem to continually get disoriented in 3D environments. Past expansions have already replaced the 2D characters and monsters with 3D ones. Another bonus of Ultima Online is the free shard servers which you can connect to. This allows you to play on an unofficial server for free. Its a great alternative for players who would rather avoid an overcrowded Britannia.
