The Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring is an RTS game set in Middle-Earth. War of the Rings isn't quite a disaster as Lords of Everquest but it doesn't stand up to Warcraft III either. There isn't anything groundbreaking about War of the Ring. There is little other than the name to set it apart from Warcraft III. If you've played tons of RTS games, you will probably find yourself bored with War of the Ring. If your a Lord of the Rings fan and you've never played any Warcraft game before (what hole have you been living in?), then War of the Ring might be just the game for you.
