Planetside mixes the first person action of Unreal Tournament with the cooperative massive play of Everquest. The best way to describe Planetside would be: massively multiplayer online first person shooter. Connecting to a central server with a persistent world with an enormous number of players allows for more strategic play. The downside to all of this is paying the monthly fee of $12. If you like to fire up a game only a couple times a month Planetside just won't work for you.
