Guild Wars fifth beta weekend began today. They have made some big changes since last month; especially in character creation. Now when you create a PvP character you can choose different types of armor, weapons, and more. Desptite the overshadowing World of Warcraft we are optimistic for a very successful release. |

No, its not this week. It is the 18th. The official Guild War's page has some info about whats new in the next weekend. There will be a new region which is described as "Ascalon as it existed before it was decimated by the Charr." If you are too lazy to pick up a pre-release copy then watch the bottom of this page for a list of sites giving away access keys.

The second free Guild Wars beta weekend is underway right now for everyone who has pre-ordered Guild Wars. There are several new features. You can start with a level 20 player for team PvP missions only. The graphics have been tweaked to look better with several both for the characters and effects. |
