America's Army is 100% free. It was created to be a recruiting promotion for the U.S. Army. Special Forces is an online-only first person shooter like Counterstrike, with a heightened level of realism. So its free, whats the catch? Well, plan on putting in some serious prep time if you want to be able to play all the levels. This game requires you to go through a "boot camp" thats a bit more work than the tutorial "boot camps" of all the other first person shooters out there. These include marksmanship (if you want to use a sniper rifle), parajumping, vehicle identification tests and more. Bottom line, if you have the patience to do the training for a day or more, this is a good game, if not -- you'll hate it. Either way, the America's Army download is free, you can take it or leave it.
