More flight simulation games coming soon...

Unfortunately what was once a genre with no shortage of computer games has somewhat died. Flight Sims are no longer nearly as popular as they used to be for the PC. For the average gaming audience, perhaps the novelty of flight has worn off. Other genres, such as first person shooters and real time strategy have wrestled away much of the audience that would be playing combat flight simulators today. While there may not be so many brand new flight simulators being released regularly anymore, its still a great time for hardcore flight enthusiasts.

For example, Dangerous Waters combines navel sub simulation with air simulation. You can pilot and operate a P-3C Orion and MH-60R Seahawk to search and destroy your enemy. Advanced realistic flight simulations designed for a niche audience are where future flight sims are headed.
