I don’t know how I nearly missed this one — Civilization IV was released October 25th. Its getting excellent reviews. Thats really good news. Sid Meier’s Civilization 2 was rated one of the top computer games of all time by PC Gamer; its good to know that the tradition is being carried on.

If you are on a budget, check this article out over at TomsHardware. This won’t be the most powerful gaming computer (obviously) but it will let you play new games without breaking the bank.
